This is a list of my top ten eleven favorite albums, of all time. It was very hard to compile this, as I have a lot of favorite songs, artists, and albums. All albums have a sample song, so you can kinda get a feel for the album. I’ve chosen the one song, that I think gives you the best general grasp over the mood of the entire album. Some of these are hard to get a feel for through one song, but I did my best anyways.

11. Skindred - Roots Rock Riot
They didn’t quite make the list, but these guys get a mention for being completely awesome. Taking, raggae and various styles of rock, and melding them into a form of pure awesomesauce. This is Skindred
Skindred - Cause Ah Riot
D’espairs ray, over the course of their existence, have managed to master the art of Industrial Metal. This album, being their latest one as of writing, continues to do so, and infuses new elements, some of which can only be experienced, and not described.
D’espairs Ray - SIXTy NINe
9. Raredrug - 11 slide 27 makes
Raredrugs driving core is metal. Taking major influences from bands like Rob Zombie and Alice in Chains, and adding their new spin manage to whirl up some of the most interesting and different songs I’ve heard. Thus earning them a spot on this list.
Raredrug - Bosh
8. The Underneath - Moonflower
This band has been around for a long, long time. And have recently changed their name from Transtic Nerve to The Underneath. This is their first release under the new name, and deserves it. It’s almost nothing like Transtic Nerve’s released in any way. The album spans the bridge from classic metal sounds to average ballads, while still maintaining their own musical identity.
The Underneath - Gekkoh
7. Soil - Scars
This album is awesome. Grunge to the bone.
Soil - Breaking Me Down
6. Boom Boom Satellites - Exposed
You may have seen my review of another Boom Boom Satellites album, If so, you’re probably not surprised to see them here. Exposed, being their latest album, expands on all of their old sounds, With a bit more of a techno-pop-rock sound… sorta.
Boom Boom Satellites - Morning After
5. Plastic Tree - Chandelier
Melancholy is the only word that comes to me when I think of Plastic Tree. The vocalists sweet voice is more than charming enough to make anyone beg for more. That’s a bit different, in this albums case. Sure, some of their songs are their usual melancholy style, but you can tell they tried to mix it up with this release. A lot of the sounds just sound poppy, while a couple are more of a heavy rock style.
Plastic Tree - Ghost
4. Incubus - Morning View
What is there to say about Incubus that has not already been said? One of the top selling bands in the world, and they deserve it. Granted, their latest two albums weren’t exactly my slice of pie, but Morning View sticks out in my mind, as one of the greatest albums of all time. The album, going from straight sappy love songs, to songs that seem to say “I hate you, fuck you leave me alone”
3. Maximum the Hormone - Rokkinpo Goroshi
Oh man, Maximum the Hormone. A weird name, for a weird band. Some of the genres they meld (Pop+Metal anyone?) may seem like suicide in theory, but they manage to pull them off with impressive flair.
Maximum The Hormone - Anaru Whisky Ponce
2. MUCC - Gokusai
This album is heavy. It starts off in your face, angry, and works it’s way through slow ballad types all the way to a re-recorded SURF VERSION of one of their earlier songs. There are limited words to express exactly how fucking awesome that is, only two come to mind. Fucking Awesome.
MUCC - Gokusai
1. Girugamesh - Girugamesh
My top album of all time. Produced by Miya, guitarist of MUCC, to create one of the most perfect albums I have ever heard. The album starts out hard, and works it’s way to the sad slow songs. Throughout the entire album the vocals are amazing, even if you can’t understand the lyrics, you can feel what he is saying. The amount of passion that goes into the vocals is one of the key factors that make this album as great as it is. Showing much ability to create music of many different styles, Girugamesh tops the chart as my favorite album, of all time. I’ve included three song samples, because one, or even two, wouldn’t express how awesome this album is.
Girugamesh - Stupid
Girugames - Shining
Girugamesh - Kowarete Iku Sekai
